正義と平和の神よ、

わたしたちは今日、ウクライナの人々のために祈ります。

またわたしたちは平和のために、そして武器が置かれますよう祈ります。

明日を恐れるすべての人々に、

あなたの慰めの霊が寄り添ってくださいますように。

平和や戦争を支配する力を持つ人々が、知恵と見識と思いやりによって、

み旨に適う決断へと導かれますように。

そして何よりも、危険にさらされ、恐怖の中にいるあなたの大切な子ども

たちを、あなたが抱き守ってくださいますように。

A Prayer for Ukraine

 

God of peace and justice,

we pray for the people of Ukraine today.

We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.

We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow,

that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.

We pray for those with power over war or peace,

for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.

Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear,

that you would hold and protect them.

We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

Amen.
